The casting will be totally just a dream cast situation and therefore not everything I wish will / could possibly happen.

During the Thanksgiving get together at Abby's house, Kevin offers to watch Neil in case he wanted to drink, saying that he would stop him if he got drunk and started saying things he would regret. Because of his traumatic upbringing, Kevin most likely suffers from anxiety and PTSD, and is obviously afraid of the people who abused him most of his life.

He declines, of course, because it's safer that way, but one of the players on the team has a connection to Neil's father, and Neil feels like he let him down once already. All the members of the Exy team, plus the coach and some rivals, feature pretty consistently throughout the books, but the books center primarily around Neil, Andrew and Kevin, with Nicky as the comic relief. I also could not completely suspend disbelief about a coach striking a private agreement with this boy and allowing him to get off his medications when he is playing.When Matt begins struggling to stay clean at Palmetto, Randy accepts Andrew's help to "cure" Matt of his addiction and once again takes time off from work to help her son recover (see The Foxes). Exy was a bastard sport, an evolved sort of lacrosse on a soccer-sized court with the violence of ice hockey, and Neil loved every part of it from its speed to its aggression. A lot of this book is devoted to this sport and how much these men and few women love Exy (almost all of them anyway), but also the violent dispositions of many characters bring very interesting tensions in their everyday communications even when they were not on the training field.

Hulu tends to be a *little* too serious but Netlix has some good teen shows that find that balance between serious and kind of ridiculous like The Foxhole Court. I actually was shook at myself when I made that poster I honestly ended up loving it jfghdkjf anyway if the Netflix people are reading this I would DEFINITELY like the job. Teen Wolf’s developer Jeff Davis stood out to me because the lacrosse scenes are Ideal and want I want for the Exy scenes. each character has goals and reasons behind their actions to better help the reader understand where they’re coming from, even if the actions themselves aren’t justified.I have seen suggestions it be animated, which would be fun, but I think it’d work better live action to really capture the exy scenes.
