About this deal

To view the purposes they believe they have legitimate interest for, or to object to this data processing use the vendor list link below. If you already have a splitter and not all ports are being used, you can also separately purchase caps to put on the unused ports. To use a splitter, you simply attach the end of each coaxial cable (which must terminate with an F connector) into each port of the splitter. Connect the Hub’s new power cable with the blue label to the back of the Hub, and plug the other end into a wall socket. You'd need to connect the TiVo's HDMI output to the matrix and then connect the outputs to the TVs or AV receivers in your other rooms.

As the Hub starts up, it'll need to connect to the Virgin Media Fibre network, which might take a while.I just want to transfer the in-point of the broadband from upstairs to down, but can't work out (so far) whether that needs to be done inside the house, or outsied, and whether it needs an engineer visit to do so (which I doubt). You can view details on the Super Hub's current status, along with details about any devices that are connected to the Super Hub. I am considering moving my V6 boxes to beside the router in the hall as the remotes do not require line of sight to work. e. if I moved this splitter to the loft would I need to follow the inputs as they were on the outside of the house - main input feed (for Tivo and Router) 4db whilst the 3. Splitting or dividing a coaxial cable to provide signal to multiple devices is a straightforward task that mainly involves attaching your existing cable to a splitter device, and running separate coax cables from the splitter to receiving devices like your TV.

Does anyone know if there is a chip/hardware in the Box to modify the signal going to each coaxial cable? Despite the coax cable being shielded to prevent corruption of the signal, it’s still possible if electric cables are laid next to the coax. If you’re using a TV antenna, make sure to run a channel scan and note the indicated signal strength of each channel, which may point to the need for an amplifier. So if you’re using a two-way splitter (which has two output ports), the incoming signal will generally be divided in two and each half sent down each outgoing cable.I'll check later, but I assume all the service cables lead back to one main junction box, split from the original feed. The main concern is potential signal loss due to setting up a splitter between the source and the receiving devices, but in the majority of installations this is of little concern.

unplug this isolator cable? (Setting up new broadband) Can I unplug this isolator cable? (Setting up new broadband)

I've done this so I can have Satelliete TV (either freesat or sky) in 5-6 locations - I'm wiring two co-ax per triplex module (for watching and recording sat TV and if required, freeview).

The advantage is that if they go wrong then VM fix them free but if your Sky box blows up then I hope you can extend your mortgage!
