About this deal

The album was not initially released in North America, where the album Music from the Edge of Heaven was released instead. Incredibly, five of them (Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Freedom, Last Christmas, I’m Your Man and The Edge Of Heaven) were British Number 1s. I have everything on other compilations and originals, but why is this one so incomplete, a missed chance to make this one perfect. It follows the track listing of the CD, with the exception of "Battlestations", as it was a B-side and not an official single.

Nothing on the album is exactly obscure, but for your enjoyment we present a lively walkthrough of the tracks on the record, with the odd bit of trivia thrown in for good measure! An ’86 remix [ Wham Rap ’86] was included as part of the 7″ double-pack and the 12″ of the last single Edge of Heaven. The box actually has 12 vinyl singles in it since The Edge Of Heaven is comprised of two seven-inch singles (as per the original) and there’s a bonus 45: Interviews: Fan club gift from Wham! A double A-side with Everything She Wants, Last Christmas topped a ludicrously successful 1984 for Wham! became the first western group to perform in China, where two rapturously received concerts broke countless cultural barriers!

Where Did Your Heart Go" had the alternate guitar-intro but in the full length album version with a slighty longer synth-outro. This is a shame because it has only ever been issued on CD on a rather obscure Japanese CD single of Club Tropicana. It was a time that both encapsulated and epitomised not just their youth, but also those of the many millions of fans that adored them. In fact, as he revealed to journalist Paula Yates on The Tube, he was planning to record four tracks, two of which—" Where Did Your Heart Go?

missed out Bad Boys and had awful updates of some tracks ( Everything She Wants ’97, I’m Your Man ’96– urgh! incredibly, five of them (Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Freedom, Last Christmas, I'm Your Man and The Edge Of Heaven) were British Number 1s. Not a hit in June 1982 when first released, but was subsequently re-released in January 1983 (after Young Guns (Go For It! Also sound quality of this doubled track is worse than other tracks (sounds like too much of noise compression was applied). This multi format release includes a special edition 7" vinyl singles carry case containing all the hits, which spanned four dazzlingly successful years, kicking off with 1982's Young Guns (Go For It) and culminating in 1986's The Edge Of Heaven.
